Live Your Name

To my kids: I know all your mothers gave you great names.  You kids should remember that your mothers were inspired in giving you those names and live your names to the fullest, and maybe even adopt other ones. If I were there when you were growing up I would have at least tried to give you kids a middle name. So if you want a middle name from your Dad, here's one and here you go.  You can choose one or all of these names. I'm sure at one time or another throughout your lives you kids will feel to live all them. They are all powerful names and many of them come from great acquaintances I have met or known in life.   I had to give you Western style names so you would match your Dad's cowboy-type name (ha, ha, ha). But I also just happen to like the ring of them. Anyways, if my kids simply lived the following eight names I think they would be well on their way to fulfilling their full potential and helping our family become a rock solid family in society.  The gir...

One Big Fat Joke

Life is far too important a thing ever to talk seriously about.     --Oscar Wilde I swear, no matter who we are, or where we're from, there always seems to be some dire emergency threatening us somehow or another. Whether its not enough money, someone being threatening or disagreeable, or some maligning entity or person eagerly waiting to rain on our parade, there just always seems to be an excuse to be anxious or distraught these days.  Now I'm not saying I'm the best at doing this or anything, but if there's one thing I know in life it is that God has a sense of humor and that life really is just one big fat joke. It may sound simple, but things generally do work out if we pray, try our best and do what's right. About Me (Part 1)
